Chartreuse is a recognized 501(c)3 organization. As a non-profit charitable entity the IRS requires that certain information be made available for public viewing. The viewable information includes Chartreuse’s application for non-profit status, annual Federal tax submission, and the organizations conflict of interest policy.
The annual tax documentation for Chartreuse is filed as a form 990-N e-postcard. The form is available for viewing by visiting the IRS website and searching for the desired 990-N. http://www.irs.gov/app/ePostcard/
The completed IRS Form 1023 (Application for Exempt Status) and organizational conflict of interest policy can be viewed at the Chartreuse office. It is recommended to call first to make sure there is someone present who can accommodate the request. Photocopies of the forms are also available and requests for the copies can be mailed to:
